WELCOME TO SPANISH GROVE ACADEMY!
Thank you for your interest in Spanish Grove Academy! SGA, as we call it, is one of the most sought after preschools in San Antonio. Whether your child is already fluent in Spanish or you are seeking to introduce them in the language, we have a spot waiting for them at our school!
At Spanish Grove Academy we take the application process very seriously. Our goal is to provide each applicant family the opportunity to learn as much as they can about the school and have all of their questions answered.
Admissions into SGA is selective and limited however we do offer rolling admissions throughout the entire year, where space is available. If a program is full, you may complete the admission steps in order to be placed on the wait list until space becomes available. Our families who began their experience at SGA on the wait list, and have since graduated from the program, will tell you- it is worth the wait!

OUR MISSION

We use research-based techniques to support all students to reach high levels of academic achievement and biliteracy in an independent learning environment that values multiculturalism. At Spanish Grove Academy we unite our community of different cultures and languages while our students are guided by those who provide activities and experiences to promote creative, cognitive, physical, emotional, and social growth. -"SGA Familia" - a special culture of families, parents, parent volunteers, alumni, faculty & staff which create a warm & loving environment special to SGA.
-Dedicated Teacher in our State-of-the-art STEAM Lab. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics)
-Dedicated Teacher for our physical education classes in our Indoor Gymnasium with Basketball Court.
-Students learn a second language in classroom environments.
-"Musica y Movimiento" is an exciting school assembly of all students, faculty, and staff joining together weekly to create a sense of family through music & movement.

After being on the waitlist for 5 months. Now having been part of the SGA family, it was more than worth the wait! With Spanish not spoken in our home, we weren't sure what to expect but our son now has the ability to communicate perfectly in Spanish which is a huge accomplishment! SGA is an amazing, clean facility, the teachers and staff are always so supportive and loving and they put both education, as well as instilling good behavior as their top priority. We have you to thank...he has now been accepted into the dual language program for Kinder and even his teacher thought he came from a Spanish speaking home! Thank you!
"We were so excited to get the call..."
Our twins were only suppose to be there for the first summer camp session, or at least that was the plan. We liked it so much we decided to keep them for second summer session. And as the second session was coming to an end we decided to leave them there for the upcoming school year. Spanish Grove has such a welcoming, caring and loving environment you can't help but smile when you are there because everyone is so friendly. My boys are happy and love to tell me about their day. We choose Spanish Grove because of the Spanish but we stayed because of the experience.
